A swordswoman struggles to distinguish dream from reality after stepping on an oarfish by mistake. Suddenly, she is faced with a nightmarish deluge of the horrific and bizarre as her homeland is lost to a rot of flesh. Once reality has stretched to the point of breaking, she is thrown back to where she began, on an empty dock beside a dead oarfish.
